I saw the idea of a calendar journal on pinterest. I made one for myself last year and it has been so fun to write down the day's most exciting even and look back and read them. I can only imagine that it will be so nice to look back as the years go on and see what we were up to.
I made some as gifts this year for Christmas. I used a stamp to put the date on each index card. Just for the cute factor, I added a stamp on the bottom right corner for each different month of the year.
I think my mason jar stamp just might be my favorite ever!
It was difficult to find a cute container to store the calendar journal in, so I ended up making my own. The boxes that they are in are saltine cracker boxes cut in (a little more than) half and then covered in scrapbook paper. I hope that everyone that got one enjoys it as much as we have enjoyed ours!
