Monogram Madness

Monograms seem to be everywhere!  I cannot lie, I am loving this trend.  Here is a collection of monogrammed items I have found.

I love the fun beach-y colors on these towels from Haymarket Designs.

These monogram wreaths are all the rage here in the south.  This is a finished one from Carolina Moon Crafts.  I also managed to find an unfinished one at Southern Proper Monograms for $18.00!!

There is a great tutorial on how to create a monogram lampshade at Shannon Berrey Design.

In My Own Style has a tutorial on how to make this adorable stool.  I would love one for my classroom!

I love this one, because it is our first initials!  There is no source for this one, but looks easy enough to figure out how to make!

This is a *free* printable monogram from For Chic Sake.

Let Birds Fly shared this tutorial on how to create yarn wrapped letters.  I love how she displays them!

Adorable iphone case from To Gild The Lily.

Jar of Hearts

This was a quick, easy Valentine's Day craft I made.  I found this container at a thrift store for 50 cents about a year ago.  The stopper in the top is a cork and I think it looks cute on various shelves in the house.  I fill it at Christmas with small ornaments.  So, why not fill it with felt, stuff hearts for Valentines day?

To make them, I used 3 shades of felt, poly-fill, and embroidery floss.  I free cut the shapes of the hearts and hand stitched the edges about 3/4 of the way.  Then I added in the poly-fill and stitched the rest of the heart closed.  I tried to make various shapes and sizes of the hearts to fill the jar.

Chicken Parmesan Sandwich

This recipe was such a hit, that we have had it several times!  It is super easy and makes a great dinner for busy work week meal.

You will need:
6 chicken fingers
1 loaf frozen garlic bread
Small jar of pizza sauce
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Directions:
Follow directions for cooking chicken fingers.  Set aside to cool and then roughly chop them up.  Follow directions for cooking the garlic bread.  (Leave enough time on the garlic bread to put it back in the oven for about 5 minutes or until the cheese melts.)  Once garlic bread is mostly cooked, place pizza sauce, chopped chicken fingers and cheese on top of the bread.  Put it back in the oven for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

ENJOY!
