Five Fab Finds

Hot pink and gold earrings.  Need I saw more?  These are super cute.  Found them at Polestar.

I am really liking this idea to display a vintage map on a vintage clipboard.  The map is $8 from Amy Kristine Prints.  Bargain!

I don't write as many letters as I would like to, but with stationary this cute, maybe I should.

This mini desk calendar is adorable!  The camping foxes of July are my favorite.  Found it at Paper Sparrow

I have got to find out where I can get these pendants and try to make some of these.  I found this one at Merriweather Council.  Her gorgeous necklaces have been featured on the Today Show and in Better Homes & Gardens.

Sausage Cheese Biscuits

Breakfast for dinner is one of my favorite things.  If you are tired of the usual breakfast for dinner ideas, try these delicious biscuits!  Everyone will go back for seconds, not to mention the left overs make a delicious to go breakfast in the morning!

Sausage Cheese Biscuits

You will need:
1/2 pound spicy Italian sausage
2 1/4 C biscuit mix
1/2 lb shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
2/3 C milk

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.  Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.  In a large skillet, crumble the sausage and cook over medium-high heat until fully cooked - about 4 minutes.  Drain the sausage and let cool

In a medium bowl, combine the biscuit mix, cheese, and seasonings.  Stir in the milk and fold in the sausage.  Drop heaping spoonfuls onto your baking sheet.  The mixture should make around 12 biscuits.

Bake for about 10 minutes, then loosely cover with foil and bake for 5 more minutes.

ENJOY!

Sallie's Shrimp Dip

Apologies for not blogging lately.  It has been very busy around here!  I am, however, taking a break from laundry/lesson planning/movie watching to share a recipe with you.

This is a recipe that is from my mother-in-law Sallie, who makes it as an appetizer for get-togethers.  We had it the other day with a variety of other appetizers for football watching.  This would be a great one to try with the holiday's quickly approaching and friends and family visiting.

Sallie's Shrimp Dip

You will need:
1 block of cream cheese
cocktail sauce
1 can of baby shrimp
lemon juice
Worcestershire sauce

Directions
Rinse the baby shrimp.  Then in a small bowl, mash up the shrimp.  Add about 1/2 - 2/3 of the bottle of cocktail sauce to the shrimp.  Add a dash of lemon juice and a dash of the Worcestershire sauce.  Mix this together well and cover.  Let sit in the fridge until you are ready to serve it.

To serve, pour shrimp mixture over the cream cheese.

ENJOY!
